It would be WONDERFUL if this is true! It would be nice if he and Calista have a place that's theirs TOGETHER! But, alas, I still have my doubts. There have been so many reports in the past about Harrison buying property, and they end up not being true. Like the Conneticut house when he was still married; the house in Tobago, that supposedly had the heart-shaped pool (made just for Calista); the property in Oregon... So far, I haven't been able to find a "legitimate" source for this news... but I'll keep looking!

Don't forget the property they supposedly bought in Hawaii!!

Once more Harrison had an envrionmental taste to choose his new house! Calista is SO BUT SOOO extremely SOOOOO LUCKY to have such boyfriend!! and sure Harrison is SO lucky to have her and Liam to share the house...well life in general of course....I'm sorry for being so sentimentalist!
Scoop! Scoop! Scoop! Everyone seems to be all a-twitter about Harrison Ford's almost immediate arrival in that little burg heaven of Bowen Island to set up a new residence since rumors were that he had just purchased some huge mansion for $13 million last week. Well the real scoop is that nothing has happened! According to my spies, the story began a long time ago when software developer Walt Ruloff sold a program to Microsoft for $120 million U.S. with his share being somewhere around 80%. (Nice "somewhere around's"!) He bought the nine acres of waterfront property at 48 Eagle Tree and renamed it the Alder Cove Estate. The main house and coach house together measure 8080 square feet plus two double and one single garage under the coach house. While Walter was the builder, the architects were Osburn and Clarke who worked with the Ruloff's throughout the design and construction. The house took more than two years to build and was completed about three years ago. The original cottage above the sandy beach was taken apart board by board and faithfully reconstructed with the addition of two more character bedrooms in what was the attic. According to other hot rumors, Walt then bought Cape Roger Curtis on Bowen for $11 million and plans to develop it extensively. Apparently Harrison was flying around the bucolic area in search of getaway real estate when he spotted the mansion. He docked the plane at Lions Bay and scooted over to have a looksee at what was available. And there it was - Walter's gorgeous waterfront mansion and property for sale and listed by Angel Hasman's Hal Barber for $9.9 million. Last Wednesday, the Bowen Island Chamber of Commerce hosted Tourism B.C.'s Ad Van Haaften, Rob Tivey, Kevin Ridgeway and Laura Plant to an Economic Development Workshop and, under Attraction Strengths, they put down, jokingly of course, Harrison Ford. But seriously, Hal confirms that the $9.9 million property has NOT been sold. To anyone. He's had calls from all over the world - England, India, Europe, all over the U.S. - but NO ONE has bought it yet! So I have it first - it's all rumor! But it sure is great stuff for Bowen... ****

Thanks for keeping us up to date on the story cally! Sometimes it can be dangerous to believe everything you read, and it's comforting to know that our team at Calista Online keeps everyone informed probably better than any one news source! Keep up the good work!

Well... the rumor about Harrison and Calista buying a home on Bowen Island has resurfaced again. Apparently, the Vancouver Sun Newspaper says that it may be true after all! A columnist for the newspaper says she heard it "from a very reliable source".
This information came from poster "rosyred" at the Harrison Ford Heaven forum. Here's the link if you'd like to read more: (If this turns out to be true... sounds like Liam will have an AMAZING place to romp around in! LOL!)
